Finally, the sun has come out! Just in time for a cook out lunch and CARNIVAL! Carnival is a CPLV tradition and is run by our LITs. We bring in inflatable rides, cotton candy, churros and sno cones and the LITs set up booths all around the field. We had face painting, guess how many jellybeans are in the jar, send a candy gram, fortune tellers, photo booth, marriage booth and the 3 legged race.
Tonight Lewis Village campers will be watching their fellow campers in the 2012 theatrical performance of Once Upon a Mattress. On the Poyntelle side of camp, Campers will have a classic evening activity. They will be re-enacting the game clue. This year’s game will have a HS theme and our counselors will play counselors from years past who discover that their principal was murdered. Campers then need to figure out who murdered him, where he was killed and with what weapon.
Tomorrow morning our Lewis Village campers will be having an early breakfast and then departing for Boston. Stay tuned for details about their exciting adventure!
