Though campers are always on the go and enjoy their days at camp, sometimes it is nice to get out of camp and offer our campers a different experience. Our outside excursions are selected and designed for each appropriate age group.

Lewis Village Big Trip – Each year all of Lewis Village ventures out of camp on a four-day trip of a different city each year. Past trips have included the following cities; click on schedule to view the past itinerary.

Summer Programming
In addition to trips our daily schedule is enhanced by diverse special events programming. Among camper favorites are:
Maccabiah and Haruach - These multi-day wars are the culmination of each camp session. The entire camp is divided into teams and competes in sports, swimming, sing downs, art events and more.
Camp Within a Camp – Campers have the chance to pick their favorite activity and enjoy a day-long intensive learning experience. Options include overnight hikes, canoe trips, wakeboarding, live bands, Mad Science, hip hop dance, fly fishing, rock climbing trips and much more!
